Aircraft Interior Detailing

Teterboro · Morristown · Allentown · White Plains

An aircraft cabin is a workspace, a lounge, and a first impression your clients form the moment they board. Coffee spills, leather wear, carpet contamination, and lingering odors devalue the experience and the aircraft itself. JetSpa restores cabin interiors to a condition that matches the exterior, using OEM-approved chemistry that will not damage leather, wood veneer, or certified aviation fabrics.

What Is Aircraft Interior Detailing?

Aircraft interior detailing is a specialized cabin restoration process covering carpet extraction, leather conditioning, wood veneer care, headliner cleaning, seat frame detail, and cabin surface disinfection. Unlike automotive interior work, aviation interiors must accommodate certified fabrics, flame-resistant materials, and finishes that are certified for the airframe. Using the wrong product can void material certifications or damage components that cost thousands to replace.

JetSpa offers three service tiers:

Why Aircraft Interior Detailing Matters

03Cabin service levelsFrom trip clean through extraction
Client experience

Client experience

Cabin condition is what your charter clients or passengers see and feel first. A dull cabin undercuts the premium the operator is charging.

Material longevity

Material longevity

Untreated leather cracks. Neglected wood dulls and micro-scratches. Contaminated carpets stain permanently. Regular interior detailing preserves the components you already paid for.

Odor control

Odor control

Food spills and lavatory issues become permanent smells when not addressed early. Regular cleaning stops that cycle before it starts.

Health

Health

Consistent disinfection of high-touch surfaces reduces microbial buildup, which matters especially for aircraft with frequent charter turnover.

Resale value

Resale value

Cabin condition is one of the first things brokers photograph and appraisers note. Interior history affects aircraft valuation directly.

Interior Detailing, answered

All FAQs →

How long does an interior detail take?

Depends on aircraft class and scope. An Interior Trip Clean runs 20 to 45 minutes. A full Interior Detail on a light jet takes 45 to 90 minutes. Midsize and larger cabins take longer. Timeline is confirmed with your written quote.

Do you use OEM-approved products on cabin surfaces?

Yes. Every product touching a certified aviation surface is on the manufacturer approved list. This protects material certifications and prevents damage to leather, wood, and specialty fabrics.

Can you remove smoke or persistent food odors?

In most cases yes. Odor removal requires source elimination through deep extraction and fabric treatment, followed by ozone or hydrogen peroxide fogging. Persistent smoke odor from long-term interior smoking may require component-level intervention.

Do you clean the lavatory and galley?

Yes. Both are included in a full Interior Detail. Deeper lavatory cleans are available as an add-on for aircraft with heavier use.

Can this be done between charter flights?

Yes. Interior Trip Cleans are designed exactly for quick-turn refresh between legs. Book ahead through your scheduler, or same day when we have availability.
